or those of you who want to try rafting on another Bulgarian river, Iskar is a good option. The location of the Iskar Gorge allows a 2-hour journey from Sofia by train, car, or even with our team. The river is class 2 according to the six-point system. It is suitable for people of all ages, beginners and children. The rafting descent lasts about 1.30 hours, and the route is about 10 km long.
The meeting point is the bridge in the village of Bov. We are waiting for you there. You leave your cars and we equip you with neoprene, neoprene boots, and the obligatory helmet and vest. The whole event lasts about 3 hours. The descent starts from the village of Bov and ends in the area of Lakatnishki skali, from where our minibus takes you back to the start. The instruction before entering the Iskar River is mandatory and will include the basic things – rowing, commands, safety and swimming. The area around the river is suitable, except for rafting and kayaking, for walking, climbing and entering caves. Upon request, entry into the Larkarnik Dark Hole Cave can be arranged.

The Iskar River is formed by three rivers: Cherni, Levi and Beli Iskar. The river Prav Iskar – a tributary of Cherni Iskar – is taken as a starting point. It originates from Rila – from the Aegean basin. It flows from south to north and flows as a right tributary of the Danube. It collects its waters from the Rila Mountains, the Samokov and Sofia Fields, Vitosha Mountain, the Balkan Mountains, the Fore-Balkans and part of the Danube Plain. It is the longest river in Bulgaria – 368 km.
