Rafting and Kayak Club Reflip proudly partners with Ecovillage Debeli Dab, where we hold our kayak training sessions in their on-site pool and use the area as our adventure base.
About Ecovillage “Debeli Dab”
Located in Stara Kresna, “Debeli Dab” (The Thick Oak) is a family-run ecovillage created by passionate adventurers and friends. Their mission is to revive and share the stunning — yet often overlooked — landscapes of Western Pirin, transforming the Kresna Gorge into a must-visit destination for outdoor enthusiasts.
Surrounded by the Vlahina and Malashevska Mountains, Pirin National Park, and the Struma River, the area offers world-class conditions for rafting, kayaking, hiking, and mountain adventures.
Accommodation
Ecovillage Debeli Dab can host up to 48 guests across 12 cozy, spacious rooms — each with a private bathroom, shower, and a breathtaking view of the Pirin Mountains. Rooms can accommodate an additional guest with a pull-out bed.
For larger groups, we can arrange extra lodging in nearby guesthouses in Stara Kresna.
Dining
Enjoy delicious homemade specialties at the restaurant and bar (up to 60 seats), overlooking the majestic Vihren Peak — the second-highest in Bulgaria.
