Visit the town of Svishtov, the birthplace of Aleko Konstantinov, the fortress Kaleto, the Roman town Nove, the masterpiece of Nikola Fichev – the Church of the Holy Trinity. Feel the spirit of the Renaissance Bulgaria. Go down the Yantra and the Danube river with kayaks.
Day 1: Arrival in Svishtov, visit of the numerous historical monuments, visit at an outdoor spa.
Day 2: Arrival in the village Tsenovo. Paddling to the village Belyanovo (passing through beautiful canyons with rocks hanging above the water). Return to Svishtov.
Day 3: Departure from Svishtov and paddling down to the Vardimski island, the third largest Danube island in its Bulgarian part. Gathering the equipment. Departure.
All details of the trip will be discussed with the group in advance. We will also make a short list of what you need to wear. The program is not final and, if desired from people in the group or unfavorable kayaking conditions is subject to change.
