Two-day kayaking adventure around Amulliani Island
Ammouliani is a small island located in the eastern part of the bay, separated from the peninsulas of Sithonia and Mount Athos, part of the Halkidiki Peninsula. It is suitable for a kayak tour, both for beginners and advanced kayakers, who just want to alternate easy paddling with beach breaks and swimming in the azure waters of the sea around. We will head out Friday evening in the direction of Tripiti, from where we will go by the kayak in the sea. The road to there will be about 5 hours, there will be a possibility for a short break on the beach of Tripiti.
Day 1: From Tripiti we will kayak to the very island of Ammouliani, stopping on the way to small islands located in the north of Ammouliani, with beautiful sea and beautiful views. We also stop for beach and holidays. We spend the night on a wild beach on the west side of the island (if you wish you can also stay in a camp). Kilometers per day – about 8 km.
Day 2: We wake up, breakfast and coffee, and after a short bit of warm up, we head south to stop on Drenja Island (or any of the other islands around). A vacation and a beach that has a desire, we can play with kayaks, for example, flip and do eskimo row practice. Later in the afternoon, we load on the kayaks and paddle to Ornaupoli, where our transportation will be waiting for Sofia. Kilometers per day – about 14 km.
All details of the trip will be discussed with the group in advance. We will also make a short list of what you need to wear. Sleeping will be on tents, so it is desirable to have camping equipment – tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad. If you do not, we will. The program is not final and it is subject to change if desired from people in the group or unfavorable conditions for kayaking (high waves, bad weather).
